Keith Stamplecoskie

Keith Stamplecoskie is the Lab Manager and Research Biologist for the Cooke Lab at Carleton University. Keith works in some capacity on most of the student and postdoctoral research projects in the lab.  He has particular expertise with passive integrated transponder (PIT) telemetry and electrofishing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship and research support to undergrad and M.Sc. students
  • Provide research support for PhD and postdoctoral projects
  • Conduct research and prepare reports with non-university research partners (e.g., Parks Canada, The National Capital Commission, Rideau Valley Conservation Authority and South Nation Conservation Authority)
  • Lab safety
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment
