Last week at the annual GLATOS (Great Lakes Acoustic Telemetry Observation System) meeting in Michigan the team behind AquaTrax Learning was awarded the 2020 Steve Zissou Award for Fisheries Education and Outreach from GLATOS and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission. AquaTrax Learning is an online platform that provides teachers free lesson plans to bring real world biotelemetry data into classrooms across Canada. Jill Brooks and Dr. Vivian Nguyen were there to accept the award and wear the red hats on behalf of the team.
