GRAD STUDENT ATTENDS FISHERIES WORKSHOPS IN NORWAY AND FRANCE

This spring MSc candidate Robert Lennox traveled to Norway to meet with collaborators at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) for an annual meeting about the salmon care project initiated in 2012. The three year project is in its final summer of salmon catch-and-release research, during which Robert will travel to River Lakselva in Porsanger, Norway to conduct complementary research to his work on River Gaula in 2013.

In conjunction with this trip, Robert traveled to Brest, France for a COST Action workshop about the utility of telemetry for studying the conservation physiology of fishes. The five day workshop hosted by Guy Claireaux at the University of Western Brittany/ Ifremer included
